GIP Funding and Budget
Funding
Apart from members’ dues, GIP SPSI is financed by contributions from members and the different social security organisations, and by the fees it receives for services rendered to members and third parties.
Fee payment terms are determined jointly by the GIP chair and treasurer, and approved by the Executive Board.
In 2006, the bulk of the funding came from the annual contribution of the general social security schemes, 78% of which was provided by the general scheme for salaried workers.
Budget for 2006
The estimated budget for 2006 - the GIP’s first full year of operation - is €1.75 million.
