Seminar on Social Protection and Sustainable Development

France’s NationalSchool for Social Security (EN3S) is holding four workshops in 2006 as part of its "Meetings on Contemporary Social Issues" programme.
The workshop of 10 October in Paris will consist of a seminar on the theme of social protection and sustainable development. Participants will reflect on the responsibility of social security bodies with regard to sustainable development, ways of developing a policy of social development and tools to implement such a policy.
Seminar organisers include Christian Brodhag, Sustainable Development Coordinator for the French Government, Elisabeth Dufourcq, Inspector General of Social Affairs and senior official for sustainable development issues, and François Fatoux, Director of ORSE (Study Centre on Corporate Social Responsibility).
