Publiée le : 21 June 2006

The Europubhealth (European Public Health) Masters Course - set to start in September 2006, has recently been selected under the European Commission’s Erasmus Mundus programme which marks it out as one of the top Masters courses in Europe.

Europubhealth was created by six European universities: ENSP, which coordinates the programme, the University of Rennes I (France), the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), the University of Sheffield (UK), the Jagiellonian University of Krakow (Poland) and the Andalusian School of Public Health (Spain). The Masters course is a two-year post-graduate programme (for European or non-European students) intended to provide students with methods, analytical tools and conceptual knowledge to understand public health issues. For its first academic year, Europubhealth received 305 applications for 40 places. Of the 26 places reserved for Erasmus Mundus scholars, 13 were awarded to non-European students and 13 to applicants from selected Asian countries under the "Asian Windows" programme.
