Working Session with Morocco

Publiée le : 21 June 2006

On 15 May 2006 during the visit to France of a delegation led by the Moroccan Prime Minister’s social affairs adviser, talks were held between Abdelaziz Adnane, Director of the National Fund of the Organisms of Social Welfare (CNOPS), and Kulmie Samantar, Head of the International Department of the Mutualité Française.

The main purpose of the talks was to identify subject areas for twinning between the two institutions, such as exchanges of information on the mutual funds sector, management of health insurance and health care information systems, the creation of a complementary insurance scheme, and financial solvency of mutual funds. These topics are fully consistent with the general aims of cooperation between the two countries. During the talks, CNOPS invited Mutualité managers to contribute to the forthcoming information and training days for CNOPS managers and managers of mutual funds participating in the administration of the statutory scheme. Topics addressed should reflect subjects broached during the talks of 15 May. The training sessions are to be held in Rabat in September and October 2006 and will be attended by Morocco’s National Social Security Fund (CNSS) and National Health Insurance Agency (ANAM)).
