The latest forum of ASPROCOP (Association of Health Professionals in the Cooperation Sector) has provided an opportunity for GIP SPSI to make itself known to health sector professionals.
Founded in 1992, ASPROCOP is open to all health sector professionals with experience in developing countries, regardless of their nationality or the institution for which they work. The association offers a forum for sharing experience as well as services to facilitate networking and promote the work of its members.
On 30, 31 August and 1st September in Paris, the association held its 2006 Forum, devoted to the question of “Development and Health: What resources for what Activities?” In the course of the event, the GIP was invited to outline its role and mode of operation during a thematic session on ways of using public-sector technical and contractual expertise to shoulder projects.
